Collaborating with the trusted architects at Mitchell Studio and the contracting teams at Nordic Construction is an ideal recipe for success. The subtle, elegant architecture let the palette take center stage. I chose dominating palettes for each room, and built my designs around the accompanying hues and artwork that support them. An abundance of seating fills the home — a necessity for entertainers like this family — but I made sure not to lose the elements of sophistication found in the artwork, fixtures, upholstery, and fabrics. Layered textures (of colors and material) give a room depth, interest, and panache.
