As the title implies, this family beach home needed to be usable for a thriving family with three grown children — and keep the traditional handsome charm expected of a Hamptons home. I focused heavily on each room’s experience; crafting inviting, serene escapes with each bedroom, and building welcoming, usable communal areas like the kitchen and dining rooms. While I used complimentary — if not very close — hues in private areas, I made sure to use a diversity of patterns in shared spaces to bring the space subtly, but distinctively, to life.
